The Disaster Response Ministry of MTW is able to respond rapidly to calls from around the world to bring medical care, counseling, and construction assistance. The hardships are real, and the emotional toll is high in this physically and spiritually demanding ministry. MTW’s Disaster Response Ministry (DRM) seeks to come alongside national relief workers, assisting with medical, spiritual and construction needs after a disaster strikes. By working with church planters already in the field, we hope to use the opportunity to strengthen church plants or establish relationships that may evolve into church planting.

Cyclone Nargis has devastated the coast of Myanmar.
MTW is issuing a Minute Man Appeal and hopes to send an Advanced Needs Assessment Team as soon as the country allows foreign aid workers to arrive. Our response in a situation such as this is normally to start with medical relief teams. Please pray for the over 30,000 Christians in Myanmar, that they would be able to overcome this tragedy and help their fellow countrymen to the glory of God.
